Ongoing Gatherings
Meditation Series
3rd Thursday of each month
6:45 PM to 8:30 PM
Suggested Donation: $10 to $20
We will begin each session with 20 minutes of Buddhist Vipassana (Insight, Sitting, Mindfulness) Meditation. Some sessions, we may substitute Hindu Transcendental Meditation.
After a short break, we will learn and practice a different type of meditation each session. The types of meditation included would be Zen, Pranayama (for Healing), Magnetic and Polarity Therapy, Drumming (and other instruments), Shamanic Journeying, Chakra Balancing, Aura Cleansing, Running Energy, Arica Psycho-Calisthenics, Hawaiian Hula, Kundalini/Trance Dance, Tantric Yoga (no sex included), Chanting, Toning, and others. Every evening will end with a healing for the Earth and inhabitants.
As always, we will be relying on Guidance to coordinate and guide the evening. There is no need for previous experience, as we will give instruction and philosophy pertaining to each practice. We will also be scheduling guest leaders every-so-often: experts in a field who wish to join the community, even for the evening.
If Steven is not able to lead the session one month, then Marcia or a guest leader will lead it. This is a wonderful way to build community, experience Spirit within and without, and build one's portfolio of personal practice.

Join Steven and Marcia as they share the joy, humor, and wisdom of Spirit! Steven will channel one or more Spirit Teachers who offer guidance, answer individual questions, and help everyone present gain insight into personal lessons. Newcomers welcome. Every group is unique and promises to offer a fascinating experience in awareness.
Group size is limited and reservations must be made in advance, although often this may be done just before the session begins. To reserve your space, please email us with your name and phone number. Steven Rogat is now approved to offer both of these workshops for Continuing Education Credit by the National Board for Certified Counselors, and by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
